What is so special about Blue Cave?
Blue Cave is waterlogged sea cave located in a small bay called “Balun” (pronounced like baloon) on the east side of the island of Biševo.
What makes it special is its beautiful blue color that changes its shade due to the sun rays that reflect of the white sand bottom.
Only man-made part of the cave is the small entrance through which you can only enter with a small boat. Entrance is so small to prevent more light entering the Cave which would ruin the experience.
You need to know that during tourist season it is extremely crowded there, and you need to prepare yourself for a couple of hours of waiting but it is worthy of a visit.
