What is Biševo known for?
Biševo is a small island near island of Vis and it’s best known for Blue Cave which is a cave in a cliff and a geomorphological phenomenon that makes it one of the biggest attractions in this part of the Adriatic Sea with more than 200 000 visitors a year.
Name of the island comes from a local word “biša” (pronounced be-sha) which means “a hole”.
